Skilled
Nursing

Skilled nursing at Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc. communities is health care that helps people recover from a surgery, illness, accident, injury, terminal illness, or other medical condition and is often used in conjunction with inpatient rehab therapy. We also offer long-term care at WISH nursing homes for those needing a permanent home and higher levels of care. Our licensed nursing staff is continuously educated on the latest care techniques and innovations and can provide residents with rehabilitative care, wound treatment, IV therapy, medication or pain management, and other treatments that require a licensed nurse. Our compassionate CNA and other support staff are there, too, to ensure residents receive effective and personalized care.

Transitional
Care

When it’s time for you or your loved one to leave the hospital following certain types of major medical events, such as a brain injury, amputation, or stroke, you may need extra care and rehabilitation before you can safely return home. This short-term assistance is called transitional care and WISH skilled nursing communities are just the place to receive it. Our highly trained nursing staff will coordinate with your medical providers to develop a personalized care plan and help you transition seamlessly not only into our community, where you will get the ongoing care and support you need, but also help you transition back home when the time comes.
