Rehabilitation
Therapy

When recovering from a serious injury, surgery, or other significant medical events, doctors often prescribe rehabilitation therapy which can include one or more modalities, each pertaining to a specific area of need. Rehab therapy is designed to help patients reach their next level in the healing and recovery process.

Inpatient & Outpatient
Rehab Therapy

Inpatient rehab therapy is an intensive form of therapy that is often administered immediately after a major medical event, such as a brain injury or stroke, amputation, or other life-changing event, and may be prescribed after a hospital stay. The goal of inpatient rehab therapy is to return patients home safely, sometimes with follow-up outpatient therapy to help patients reach their highest level of recovery.

Outpatient rehab can help a wide range of medical conditions, from mild to moderate, but doesn’t require a stay at our facility. Outpatient therapy helps with things like recovering movement or speech following a stroke, expanding movement after an injury or surgery – like hip, knee, or other joint replacement – or learning new ways to accomplish tasks due to physical limitations. Contact us today to see if outpatient rehabilitation therapy is right for you. Inpatient and outpatient therapy are often covered by Medicare and other insurances.

Prehab
Therapy

Prehab is therapy prior to surgery that helps patients prepare for the event physically and promotes speedier recoveries and better outcomes. Like rehab, prehab is a program using targeted therapies and exercises to help patients recover from a major medical event and may reduce the need for extended rehabilitation afterward.
